Principle

This website is deliberately lean. We use no cookies, no tracking, no advertising networks and no analytics. There is therefore no cookie banner.

Visiting the site

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. The host processes technically necessary connection data such as IP address, timestamp, requested file and browser type. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (secure and reliable operation).

Fonts

Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which transmits your IP address to Google. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Booking enquiry

• Data processed: name, email address, requested dates, number of guests and your message.
• Purpose: handling and answering your enquiry, and performing any rental agreement that follows.
• Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
• Confirmation emails are sent via Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) on the basis of standard contractual clauses.
• Retention: enquiries that do not lead to a contract are deleted after twelve months at the latest. Where a contract is concluded, statutory retention periods apply.

Map

The location map comes from OpenStreetMap (OpenStreetMap Foundation, United Kingdom). It is not loaded automatically: only when you click “Load the map” are map tiles requested and your IP address transmitted to OpenStreetMap. Legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, given by that click.

Calendar synchronisation

To display availability, our server periodically retrieves the Airbnb calendar feed. Only occupied periods are transferred, never personal data about guests.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Simply write to the email address above. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
